Kalen DeBoer is getting a full introduction into the expectations at Alabama in year one.
The standard and expectation of excellence at Alabama is expected to continue, per many Tide fans. They have let their new head coach know, going as far as sending their kids over to DeBoer as messenger pigeons.
“This has happened a couple times,” DeBoer told Touchdown Alabama. “You go to speaking engagements and usually adults, but sometimes there’s a couple kids there, and the kids making points on ‘make sure you don’t lose to this team.’ Not like, you know, teenagers. I’m talking, like, six-year-olds just saying you don’t lose to your rival in this game and that game, anything less than a championship is unacceptable, and their parents put them up to it, but the message is loud and clear.
