Alabama football’s linebacker, Deontae Lawson is continuing to make progress as he attempts to make his way back to the football field.
The Mobile, Alabama native returns to the Crimson Tide for a fifth season after suffering a season-ending injury against Oklahoma in 2024.
Lawson still managed to finish the season tied for ninth in the SEC with 76 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss and two sacks despite not finishing the season healthy. He did not participate in spring practice with Alabama, but he continues to show signs of improvement, per Alabama football’s head coach Kalen DeBoer.
