Alabama football wrapped up its second scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday morning, and Kalen DeBoer talked about returner options for the Tide following the scrimmage.
DeBoer highlighted four possible candidates, including two freshmen, who have caught the eyes of the special teams department throughout fall camp.
“Yeah, I think there’s a couple of different ways you look at it, right?” DeBoer said. “You go with the veterans, being around Germie Bernard as a returner, he’s done both and you’re comfortable with him catching the ball. You are comfortable with him making good decisions, especially when the ball is on a punt and the punt coverage team is flying down the field.
