Kicker Conor Talty missed a 28-yard field goal in Alabama’s game against Eastern Illinois, and the fans in Bryant-Denny Stadium booed Talty as he walked to the sideline.
The fans booed Talty on each of his PATs following the missed field goal. Talty made the extra points despite being booed, and the fans cheered louder than usual when he made those kicks.
“I wished they’d have [his] back like I know our locker room has his back,” DeBoer said.
