Alabama men’s basketball played their hearts out last night and very nearly handed Auburn their first home loss of the season after spotting the Tigers 16 points to open the game. Herb Jones came off the bench to play some stellar defense and provide a spark, and the team seemed to rally around him playing so soon after surgery. The Tide set SEC records with 22 three point makes and 59 attempts, which just goes to show that a small team can in fact use that strategy against bigger opponents.
