College football recruiting is all about timing and 2021 athlete, JT Billups, time may be right around the corner.
Billups currently attends Gordo High School in Gordo, Alabama. The Green Wave lined Billups up at safety and wide receiver on last season. Gordo’s head coach, Ryan Lolley, expressed to yours truly, Billups is one of the best athletes he has ever coached and Lolley coached former 5-Star and current Alabama linebacker, Ben Davis, during his time at Gordo.
At 6-2 and 201 pounds, Billups said he is working on his leadership heading into his junior season.
“I am working on being a leader for the young guys,” Billups said.
