Banks High School and Alabama football great Johnny Musso will appear at a fundraiser for Banks Academy May 11.
Banks Academy is a Christian private school in South East Lake named for the old Banks High School.
The fundraiser will take place at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham - Wynfrey Hotel.
Tickets are $250 each.
Musso, known as the "Italian Stallion," was an All-American running back under Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant from 1968 to 1971. He rushed for 2,741 yards and 34 touchdowns during his Crimson Tide career, then went on to play for the Chicago Bears.
