Twice a finalist, JK Scott was in Atlanta on Thursday with his last shot at the Ray Guy Award.
And for a second time, the Crimson Tide punter came up short. Texas' Michael Dickson took home the honor at the College Football Hall of Fame.
As a senior, Scott is averaging 43.4 yards per punt while putting 22 of 42 inside the 20-yard line. His career average is 45.1 yards.
Scott was also a finalist as a freshman in 2014 when he averaged 48.0 yards per punt.
In 2016, Scott wasn't one of the 10 semifinalists.
