The New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn revealed he had a conversation with Brian Branch before the Jets selected Malachi Moore in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Glenn coached Branch for two seasons when he was the Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator. Branch was complimentary of Moore during Glenn’s conversation with him, and it looked to have paid off.
“Malachi Moore was a guy I talked to Brian Branch before the draft, and he gave me some really good insight on that player,” Glenn said during a recent press conference. “Moore being a captain, that tells what he is.
