Jesse Williams reflects on Alabama’s 2012 national title team getting honored

A pivotal member of Alabama’s 2012 BCS National Championship team will not be at Bryant-Denny Stadium for a 10-year reunion celebration Saturday against Texas A&M.

Jesse Williams, a former Crimson Tide defensive lineman, helped anchor a front that allowed 10.9 points that year. He recorded 37 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, four quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and a blocked field goal. Williams, an Australian native, became a fan favorite and won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. He posted three photos to Twitter, detailing to fans that he will be at the game in spirit.
