J.D. Greear is the wrong man to be President of the Southern Baptist Convention for one simple reason—he doesn’t really like being a Southern Baptist. His church doesn’t know it is Southern Baptist. If Greear were to be elected SBC president, one expects him to put a paper sack over his head like Larry the Cucumber of VeggieTales fame. So, what keeps him in the Southern Baptist Convention?
