Bobby Acosta, the head coach of IMG Academy, has only been at the helm for the Ascenders for a little over 6 months and Alabama’s newest commit, JC Latham, has blown him away in that short period of time.
Latham, who committed to Alabama Friday, garners a 5-Star rating. The Wisconsin native’s pledge gave Alabama its first offensive lineman and its third offensive commit in the 2021 class. Standing at 6-6 and weighing more than 300 pounds, Tide fans are excited to see Latham on the gridiron, but it is his leadership, that Alabama is going to benefit from the most, according to Acosta.
