Dean is a defensive back out of South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi,. He has six Division 1 offers. Nick Saban informed the lifelong Alabama fan of his offer from the Tide.
“Coach Saban had me in his office and he told me,” Dean said. “It was a surprise, my dad was the only one that knew. It is really a blessing from the man above.”
The South Panola product got to do a little bit of everything on Saturday during his time on the campus of the University of Alabama, including getting his first look at the revamped Alabama coaching staff.
