Jalston Fowler seeking Seattle Seahawks' fullback job

With declining demand for his position in the NFL, fullback Jalston Fowler figures he needs to be versatile and error-free to stay in the league.

"If you're going to play fullback, you've got to play special teams and do everything right," Fowler said. "It's hard. If you don't do those things, you can't make the team, so you've got to be a core player on special teams."

The problem with that for Fowler last year was the Tennessee Titans were no longer using him on special teams. During his 10 games with the Titans in 2017, Fowler was on the field for one special-teams play.
