Nick Saban had previously mentioned how much more comfortable backup quarterback Jalen Milroe has been throughout spring practice and now Milroe finally had the chance to show the public how much he’s progressed.
During the first half of the 2022 A-Day Game, Milroe impressed with his much-improved touch and accuracy with his arm. Last season as a true freshman, Milroe primarily displayed his athletic ability in his limited playing time as he still had ways to go as a passer. But so far today, the Katy, TX., native tore up the second-team defense.
Through the first two-quarters, Milroe completed five of seven passes for 92 yards while connecting with wide receiver Christian Leary for a 52-yard touchdown.
