After three seasons at Alabama and one year at Oklahoma, the three-time conference champion and College Football Playoff National Champion (2017) is now at the NFL Scouting Combine ready to compete. His measurements were strong at 6-1 and 222 pounds with 9 6/8” hands.
Regardless of some people wanting him to explore switching positions, the native Texan provided one answer to reporters at Lucas Oil Stadium. Per a video from CBS Sports HQ, Hurts said he is ‘a quarterback and that’s that.’
He prides himself as a team player and he’ll be excited by whomever takes him; however, he is not settling for anything other than quarterback.
