It's fair to say Jake Coker wasn't happy with the whole NFL combine situation.
Coming off two of his best games in the playoffs, the former Alabama passer wasn't among the 18 quarterbacks invited to the crucial showcase in Indianapolis. That left Wednesday's pro day in Tuscaloosa as his primary tryout for pro teams.
Coker said good was mixed with the bad in a planned 50-throw showcase. Intermediate routes were better than the deep balls. The combine issue wasn't Coker's favored topic.
"Oh man, I don't wanna get started on that," he said after the workout.
