Jahmyr Gibbs models his game off of three NFL running backs

One of the attributes which originally intrigued Alabama in its hunt for Jahmyr Gibbs in the transfer portal was his speed.

Since joining the Crimson Tide, Gibbs has established himself as one of the more dynamic players on offense as he’s earned praise from Nick Saban and linebacker Henry To’oto’o who is matched up with the former Georgia Tech back often in practice.

“Jahmyr’s been doing great,” To’oto’o said on Aug. 5. “So fast, so elusive. Gets in and out of his cuts so quick. I’ve never guarded a back like him before.”

Gibbs was a multidimensional player as a member of the Yellow Jackets as he amassed 1,206 rushing yards, 768 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns in his first two seasons at the college level.
