As we approach the last Saturday of the regular season and the next-to-last playoff rankings, which will be released tonight, the field for the College Football Playoff seems to be set. Remember that these are my rankings, and this will be updated once the official rankings come out.
* If No. 1 Clemson (12-0) beats No. 10 North Carolina (11-1) in the ACC championship game in Charlotte, the Tigers are in. Clemson is a six-point favorite.
* No. 2 Alabama is a 17.5-point favorite over Florida in the SEC championship game. A Crimson Tide win puts them in the playoffs.
