Ian Jackson signed his National Letter of Intent with Alabama football Wednesday.
Jackson is a 4-Star linebacker, according to Touchdown Alabama. He has been verbally committed to Alabama football since May. The Prattville High School product chose Alabama over Auburn, LSU and others.
Auburn was considered the favorite to land Jackson at one point in his recruitment. The Jackson family has strong ties to the plains. Ian’s mother is an Auburn graduate and a former member of the Tigers’ marching band.
Multiple other members of the Jackson family have attended Auburn as well. In the end, it was the Crimson Tide for the Prattville product.
