One of the best receivers to come through Alabama football was in a scary moment Tuesday morning.
Henry Ruggs III was in a serious car accident, according to TMZ Sports.
He got selected by the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 12 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. The incident happened at central Las Vegas Valley around 3:40 a.m. A source close to Ruggs told TMZ that the second-year player is okay. No one knows if drugs or alcohol were involved in the car accident. Ruggs, a native of Montgomery, Ala., caught 24 career touchdowns for the Crimson Tide.
