Governor Kay Ivey urges Alabama residents to stay home to assist with college football’s return

It has been said by common people, leaders of small communities and known figures in athletics, both college and professional.

The task of social distancing has been placed on everyone in this time of the coronavirus pandemic, and another decision was made on Friday to hopefully ensure the global crisis does not spread. According to Kay Ivey, governor of the state of Alabama, she issued a stay-at-home order for all residents. For a state driven by college football, the primary question being asked right now is will we even have a football season? Despite the votes of positivity, Ivey sees it happening on one condition: if residents take COVID-19 seriously and stay home.
