One of the perks of being the lead analyst for the SEC on CBS, Gary Danielson says, is his access to mid-week practices.
Danielson joined me on "The Opening Kickoff" on WNSP-FM 105.5 on Wednesday and shared his thoughts on top-ranked Alabama, the Tide's potential SEC hurdle and the time Nick Saban made Kirby Smart pout.
Danielson quickly pointed out the 59-0 beat down the Crimson Tide gave Vanderbilt was "a distorted view of Alabama."
"Early in that game, three of Vanderbilt's best plays worked against them," he explained. "I thought they lost a lot of hope.
