Isaiah Hastings is one of 13 early enrolled for spring practice in Alabama’s 2022 recruiting class.
As a native Canadian, the four-star defensive lineman played his final high school football season at Clearwater Academy International in Florida. Hastings chose the Crimson Tide over Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Oregon. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder is a powerful lineman who is going through weight training. He posted a video to Twitter of him squatting major weight without assistance. Hastings captioned the video: “Lightweight baby!” He adds depth to Alabama’s defensive front rotation.
If he can make some noise in the spring, Hastings could see some playing time in the fall.
