Former Tide RB Jalston Fowler lands assistant job at Class 7A high school

The man given the nickname “Nudie” is still involved with football.

Jalston Fowler’s professional was short lived in the National Football League, but that has not derailed him as the former University of Alabama running back has landed a position at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School as running backs’ coach.

News was announced on Thursday as Fowler returns home to Mobile, Ala.

The Yellow Jackets were Class 7A State Champions in 2015 and Fowler on the staff, it anticipates having a balanced offense. A four-star in the 2010 class, Fowler arrived on campus with a versatile skillset.
