Former Alabama running back, Mark Ingram Jr. was inducted to the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Birmingham.
Ingram had a great college football career at Alabama from 2008 to 2010, becoming one of the most celebrated players in Crimson Tide history. The Hackensack, New Jersey native made an immediate impact in Tuscaloosa as a freshman, rushing for 728 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to earning a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team.
Ingram doubled his production as a sophomore by rushing for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns. This historic performance earned Ingram the Heisman Trophy, making him the first player in program history to receive the award.
