The Minnesota Star Tribune recently reported former Alabama football player, Dallas Turner, was scammed out of $240,000.

Turner told police he received a call from someone impersonating a JP Morgan Chase employee in April. The caller told Turner someone was using his identity at a bank in Arizona, and he had to wire money to avoid a theft attempt.

The former first-round pick sent a total of $240,000. The brank-fraud scheme targeted multiple victims.

Turner signed a $15.76 million rookie contract with the Minnesota Vikings after getting drafted. He is in the second year of the contract.
