Former Alabama player says let Bryce Young call plays, not Bill O’Brien

Mike McCoy wants Bryce Young to call Alabama football’s offensive plays and not the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.

McCoy is a former Alabama wide receiver. He has been very vocal since the Crimson Tide were defeated by the Tennessee Volunteers Saturday. After Young threw for 455 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort, McCoy feels the Crimson Tide should not let O’Brien make any calls moving forward.

“Offensive side of the ball, just let Bryce play,” McCoy said. “I would not even let him call nothing. Do not let the OC call nothing else.
