Former Alabama LB Terrell Lewis criticizes Pete Golding’s use of pass rushers

Frustration continues to pour in from former Alabama players after the Crimson Tide’s loss to Tennessee.

Terrell Lewis, one of the best pass rush linebackers of the Nick Saban era, was highly disappointed at Pete Golding’s use of the outside linebackers against the Volunteers. Lewis, who arrived as a four-star in Alabama’s 2016 recruiting class, assisted the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017. He battled injuries throughout his career, but Lewis became a force for Alabama in 2019. He recorded a team-high 16 quarterback hurries, 11 tackles for loss, and six sacks in his final year.
