Former Alabama defensive tackle facing domestic assault charge

Christian Barmore, a current New England Patriots defensive tackle that was drafted in 2021 out of The University of Alabama, is facing a domestic assault charge, according to court documents out of Attleborough District Court.

Barmore is charged with one count of assault and battery on a family/household member.

The court documents say that the victim was in a relationship with Barmore and that the incident happened on Aug. 8 in Mansfield.

The criminal complaint was issued on Dec. 16, and Barmore is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 3, 2026, five days before Super Bowl LX.
