TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama announced Wednesday that eight student-athletes have begun classes at the University and will be eligible to participate in spring practice with the Crimson Tide in 2016.
The January enrollees include junior college offensive lineman Charles Baldwin (Windsor, Conn./ASA College), linebacker Christian Bell (Hoover, Ala./Hoover), tight end Miller Forristall (Cartersville, Ga./Cartersville), quarterback Jalen Hurts (Channelview, Texas/Channelview), defensive back Shawn Jennings (Dadeville, Ala./Dadeville), offensive lineman Chris Owens (Arlington, Texas/Arlington), wide receiver T.J. Simmons (Pinson, Ala./Clay-Chalkville) and offensive lineman Jonah Williams (Folsom, Calif./Folsom).
