Finger surgery might sideline Tennessee Titans guard Chance Warmack for rest of NFL season

Tennessee Titans right guard Chance Warmack will have surgery on his injured right hand and might miss the rest of the season, coach Mike Mularkey said on Wednesday.

Warmack suffered a torn tendon in the middle finger of his right hand while warming up on Sunday for the Titans' game against the Detroit Lions. The former Alabama All-American played every offensive snap in Tennessee's 16-15 victory despite the injury.

But at his Monday press conference, Mularkey said a decision would have to be made on whether Warmack could play with the injury or if it would have to be surgically repaired before he could play again.
