Evan Neal gives insight into Alabama’s potential starters at offensive tackle in spring practice

Evan Neal exits as one of the best linemen of the Nick Saban era.

He became an All-American as an offensive tackle in two seasons at the University of Alabama.

Neal protected two 4,000+ yard quarterbacks (Mac Jones, Bryce Young), blocked for two 1,200+ yard running backs (Najee Harris, Brian Robinson Jr.), and his dominance on the line allowed for three 1,000+ yard receivers (DeVonta Smith, Jameson Williams, John Metchie). Neal’s success as a starter helped the Crimson Tide produce back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners in Smith and Bryce Young. He arrived in 2019 as a five-star, and Neal is a projected top-five NFL Draft pick for next month.
