ESPN’s Desmond Howard says ‘there is no way Alabama beats Tennessee if Bryce Young does not play.’

ESPN’s Desmond Howard is the latest media pundit trending toward Tennessee for Saturday’s game.

He told Mike Greenberg on Get Up that Alabama will be beaten by Tennessee if Bryce Young does not play. Howard said the Crimson Tide’s offense is ‘not as dynamic’ without Young. The junior quarterback for Alabama suffered an AC joint sprain to his throwing shoulder versus Arkansas. He did not play against Texas A&M, but Young has practiced all week for Tennessee.

Coach Nick Saban has had Young a ‘pitch count,’ but he keeping things close to the vest. Jalen Milroe, Alabama’s backup quarterback, got his first career start against the Aggies.
