ESPN sportscaster, Joe Tessitore feels the Alabama Crimson Tide’s five-star defensive back signee, Jireh Edwards, is the next Ed Reed, according to Front Office Sports.

Tessitore is set to call the high school National Championship game Wednesday between St. Frances Academy and Corner Canyon on ESPN2.

Edwards is expected to be a safety for the Crimson Tide. The Maryland product has the potential to be a day one contributor for the Tide in the secondary.
