Either way, whether it’s New York or Moscow, details of the World Boxing Council heavyweight champion’s next title defense – location, venue and, officially, the opponent – should be known within approximately 10 days.
Wilder (36-0, 35 KOs) is expected to defend his WBC title against top-ranked contender Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22 KOs), but exactly where that bout will take place, and the intricate details included, has yet to be determined.
