DeVonta Smith was not the only member of Alabama to answer questions about his weight. Offensive lineman Deonte Brown was also asked about whether he would be able to address his own weight at the next level.
Brown, who’s one of the largest linemen in the draft, played at over 360 pounds during the 2020 season and went to Senior Bowl weighing precisely 364 pounds.
Although he’s been able to use his size to his advantage, it is still a concern for many NFL teams if he will be able to shave off a few pounds to help his mobility.
