CHAPEL HILL, N.C. | The Alabama women’s golf team carded a 5-over 293 on Sunday to record a 54-hole total of 886 (+22), finishing sixth at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational. The UNC Finley Golf Course played tough all weekend long, as every team finished over par.
Despite the team’s total in the final round, there were several highlights. Senior Janie Jackson rebounded from a tough second round to shoot a 1-under 71 on Sunday, including three birdies. Fellow senior Emma Talley fired a 1-over 73 to close out the tournament, finishing tied for seventh in the individual standings with a 2-over 218.
