The NIT did Alabama few favors, dropping the Tide to a 5-seed, and sending Avery Johnson's bunch to Omaha for a rematch with the 4th-Seeded Creighton Bluejays. Should the Tide make it out of Omaha victorious, No. 1 overall seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies await the Tide in New York.
