Cam Robinson is expected to play on a franchise tag for the Jaguars next season

A valuable offensive tackle in the National Football League will not hit the free agency market.

Cameron “Cam” Robinson, an alumnus of the University of Alabama, is expected to play on a franchise tag from the Jacksonville Jaguars. The news came on Tuesday from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, as the Jaguars want to have its veteran left tackle protecting the blindside of future quarterback, Trevor Lawrence. Jacksonville has the No. 1 overall pick of this year’s NFL Draft, and Robinson is entering his fifth season. He was selected in the second round of the 2017 venue and has started in 47 games.
