Calls to bench Tua Tagovailoa grow louder as Dolphins fans fully turn on their QB

Things couldn't have gone much worse for Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins offense in the 2025 season opener.

Playing at home against a team many expected to be one of the worst in the AFC in the Indianapolis Colts, the Dolphins got completely outclassed and embarrassed. The Colts scored the game's first 30 points before Tagovailoa threw a touchdown pass to De'Von Achane with 6:21 to go in the fourth quarter.

Before that, Tagovailoa turned the ball over three times, with two interceptions and a lost fumble. The turnovers were costly and eye-opening. The interceptions looked to be a direct result of his diminished arm strength, which seems to be continuously on the decline, thanks to numerous injuries dating back to his time at Alabama.
