Coach Nick Saban holds the key to the NCAA transfer portal.
He has grabbed another elite wide receiver for the University of Alabama. The Crimson Tide picked up Jermaine Burton from Georgia, and now it has Tyler Harrell. A native of Miami, Fla., Harrell is an elite speed receiver from Louisville.
He posted marquee numbers in a run-heavy offense for the Cardinals in 2021. Harrell totaled 18 receptions for 523 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. The 6-foot, 197-pounder averaged 29.1 yards per catch. Alabama fans watched Jameson Williams destroy defensive secondaries last year, so Saban wants to continue adding speed.
