After spending the last two seasons as Houstons head coach, Major Applewhite will join Nick Saban’s staff as an analyst as first reported by AL.com.
This will be Applewhites second stint at Alabama for he was Saban’s first offensive coordinator when he first took the head coaching job back in 2007.
Applewhite had a 15-11 record as a head coach at Houston and a 0-3 bowl record before being let go for new head coach Dana Holgorsen.
