    • Javari Barnett announced a commitment to Alabama football on Monday.

    Barnett attends Tampa Bay Tech High School and is rated as a three-star recruit on most recruiting sites. He becomes the Tide’s ninth commit in the 2026 recruiting class after flipping his commitment from Illinois.

    The Crimson Tide hosted him over the weekend for an official visit.
