Alabama football’s starting quarterback Ty Simpson has declared for the NFL Draft.
Simpson is a former five-star, who signed with Alabama and waited three seasons for a chance to earn teh starting quarterback role. He proved himself to be one of the best quarterbacks in the sport in 2025, despite the Tide’s rushing attack being nonexistent at times in 2025. His pass protection was also not the best in key games against great defenses.
The Tennessee native still managed to throw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns, while only throwing five interceptions in 2025.
