Peter Woods announced his commitment to the Clemson Tigers Friday.
Woods is a product of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, and he is rated as a five-star recruit. He chose the Tigers over Alabama, Jackson State and Florida. The Thompson product told Touchdown Alabama in May he was impressed with Clemson’s player development on and off the field.
“They have one of the best coaches in college football,” said Woods. “Coach Swinney has come in there and made their program really something special. It is really about their coaching staff and how they care about the man you become regardless of the football player you become.
