Tony Mitchell announced his commitment to Alabama football Sunday via Twitter.
Mitchell is a product of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, and he is Alabama’s seventh 2023 commit. He chose the Crimson Tide over Texas A&M, Georgia and Auburn, who were all in his top four. He told Touchdown Alabama in April Alabama was a second home to him.
“Our relationship is strong,” Mitchell said. “I have a good relationship with coach Roach, coach Golding, coach Saban and now coach Robinson. I had a relationship with coach Robinson when he was in Miami. I just want to continue bonding with those guys and get to know them better.
