Danny Lewis Jr. signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama Wednesday.
Lewis is a product of Westgate High School in New Iberia, Louisiana. He is the 24th 2022 recruit to sign with the Crimson Tide. Most recruiting sites have Lewis listed as a three-star prospect, but Touchdown Alabama will have him rated as a four-star recruit in our own independent recruiting ratings and rankings of Tide commits.
Alabama went after Lewis late to add more depth to its tight end position, and the Louisiana product was one of the best available.
