One of Alabama's biggest local recruiting scores of the Nick Saban era officially ended his Crimson Tide run Thursday.
Bo Scarbrough, a former 5-star prospect and Tuscaloosa County, was one of five juniors who declared for the NFL draft. It ends a three-year Alabama career that had its share of potential, injuries and stretch of games last season that married all of that.
Weighing his options for the future, this was the right time for Scarbrough to test himself at the highest level. That comes in spite of Scarbrough himself saying he didn't accomplish everything he wanted on a personal level this season.
