It’s been a long time since Blake Sims was in the win column.
Seven years to be exact.
But the former Alabama quarterback reverted back to his glory days but this time he traded in the Crimson and White for the orange and blue of the Spokane Shock.
In his first game in the Indoor Football League, Sims put on a show for the local crowd amassing a total of 163 yards and five touchdowns in the 46-35 win over the Sioux Falls Storm.
“I haven’t played in so long, but I have a great family, and they’ve been behind me for so long,” Sims said.
